Do I need a license to operate a motorboat?
A licence (motorboat helmsman) is required for motorboats with engine power above 10 kW. Boats up to 10 kW can be operated without a licence; houseboats up to 13 m and 75 kW with a speed structurally limited to 15 km/h are also licence-free. Check the requirements on each boat's page.
What are the fuel costs for a motorboat charter?
Fuel is usually not included in the charter price. Average cost is 3-8 EUR/h depending on engine power and speed. You'll receive estimated fuel consumption details when booking.
Can I fish from a rented motorboat?
Yes, fishing is allowed on Masurian lakes with a valid fishing license. You can purchase one online or at local tackle shops. Some owners offer fishing equipment sets.
